In The Beginning...

I suppose before I expose you to the deepest recesses of my soul I should start you off with the basics. I turned 31 in February. Almost the entirety of that time was spent in Stockton, a small town in central California mostly known for its crime problem. Shortly before Christmas 2007, the fates conspired to give me the opportunity to move to Rapid City, SD. So far I'm loving it here. I have already discovered that the woman I've been looking for all my life lived four states away from me. I suppose the important thing is that we are together now and for the rest of our lives.

And now onto the writer thing. All my life, all I have ever wanted to do was write. In truth, writing is all I've ever been really good at. (At least without being arrested.) My only problem has been actually finding the time and the will to sit down and do it on a regular basis. Which brings me to the reason for starting this blog. If you, my faithful readers, keep on me to actually finish something, I promise to tease you from time to time with tidbits from my novel and perhaps even an occasional, web-only short story. In addition, if you see that a week has gone by without me posting, send me a message and let me know about it.

Thank you for reading. I hope this will be the beginning of something big.
